The SPCA's 17th Annual Wag n' Walk takes place this Saturday, May 5th, at Shoreline Park in Monterey (near the Coast Guard Pier). Join hundreds of your friends and neighbors as you walk to raise money to help the SPCA rescue pets in need.

Update on Rescued Emaciated Police Dog
We received a lot of questions about the rescued emaciated police dog, Ingo, who we featured in our last eNewsletter.
Ingo is now up to 80 pounds (from 55 pounds when he was rescued). He is getting lots of love and care in his foster home.
His owner, a former Watsonville police officer, pled not guilty and will represent himself in court in June. See more photos and read the latest news stories here.
